In the 2014 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings, Houghton-Portage Township Schools is one of the top high schools in the country, receiving a silver medal. Houghton High School was the top-ranked school in the Upper Peninsula, finishing 13th in the state and 572 in the country. Congratulations to our staff and students!
